What is a watermark for?

A watermark is semi-transparent text or a logo placed over an image to show who created it. It discourages unauthorized use of your photos and, at the same time, promotes your brand when they are shared on social media, property portals or online stores.

You can write your own text in different fonts or upload your logo as a transparent PNG, place it in any of the nine positions or repeat it as a tiled pattern across the whole image for maximum protection.

Frequently asked questions

What opacity is best?

Between 40% and 60% is usually a good balance: the mark is clearly visible without covering the photo.

Can I use my logo?

Yes. Upload a PNG with a transparent background for the best result.

Does it look the same on images of different sizes?

Yes. Size and margin are calculated as a percentage of each image’s width, so the mark looks proportionate on all of them.

Can the watermark be removed later?

Not from the resulting image, because it becomes part of the pixels. Always keep a copy of the original.
