Why pixelate faces and data in a photo?

Before posting a photo online, it is wise to protect the privacy of the people in it, especially minors or anyone who has not given permission. It is also advisable to hide number plates, addresses, documents or screens showing personal information.

With this tool you mark the areas by dragging your mouse or finger and choose the effect: pixelate, blur or a solid color cover, the safest option. If your browser supports it, it can also detect faces automatically. Because everything is processed on your device, the original photo never leaves it.

Yes, click “Apply to the whole image”.

Is the original photo stored anywhere?

No. The image is processed in your browser and is not sent to any server.
