When do you need to rotate an image?

Photos taken with a phone and scanned documents often appear sideways or upside down. Rotating them one by one in an editing program is slow, especially when there are many. With this tool you can rotate each image individually or all of them at once.

Besides 90° and 180° turns, you can apply a free angle to straighten a photo’s horizon and flip the image horizontally or vertically to create a mirror effect.

Key features

How to rotate an image

  1. Select or drag your images.
  2. Rotate each one with its buttons, or all with “Apply to all”.
  3. Add an extra angle or flip them if needed.
  4. Click “Rotate images” and download the result.

Frequently asked questions

Does rotating reduce quality?

90° and 180° turns do not alter the pixels. With a free angle, the image is recalculated with high-quality smoothing.

What happens to the corners with a free angle?

The canvas is enlarged so the image is not cut off. Corners are transparent in PNG and WEBP and white in JPG.

Can I rotate several photos at once?

Yes, up to 30 images, each with its own rotation or all the same.

Why did my photo appear rotated?

Many cameras store the orientation in EXIF metadata. When you rotate it here, the orientation is permanently applied to the image.
