2. Your images never leave your device
All EditorImagen editing tools run inside your browser using JavaScript. The images you select are not sent to our servers or to third parties, are not stored and disappear when you close or reload the page. We therefore do not process the content of your images or any metadata they may contain.
3. What data we process, why and on what legal basis
3.1. Contact form
- Data: name, email address, reason and message you write to us, plus the IP address, browser and date of submission.
- Purpose: to handle and answer your enquiry and to prevent automated or abusive messages.
- Legal basis: your consent when submitting the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, for technical security data, our legitimate interest in protecting the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Retention: for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and at most 12 months after the last communication, unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.
3.2. Protection against automated submissions
To limit the number of form submissions we keep, for a maximum of 48 hours, an irreversible identifier (hash) derived from your IP address together with the time of each attempt. It does not directly identify you and is deleted automatically.
3.3. Server logs
Like any website, our hosting provider automatically logs technical visit data (IP address, date and time, requested page and browser) for security and maintenance purposes. These logs are kept for a limited period and are not used for profiling.
4. Cookies and local storage
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| ei_sid | First-party technical cookie | Only on the contact page: protects the form (security token and captcha). | Until the browser is closed |
| ei-theme | Local storage (localStorage) | Remembers whether you prefer light or dark mode. It is not sent to the server. | Until you delete it |
These items are strictly necessary or expressly requested by you, so they are exempt from consent under Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and the ePrivacy rules. We currently do not use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add measurement or advertising services in the future (for example Google Analytics or Google AdSense), we will ask for your consent beforehand through a cookie banner and update this policy.
5. Recipients
We do not share your data with third parties unless legally required. The web hosting and email providers needed to run the service have access to it as data processors, with the safeguards of Article 28 GDPR. No international data transfers are planned; should any be necessary, they would be carried out with the appropriate safeguards set out in the GDPR.
6. Your rights
You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability, and withdraw your consent, by writing to us through the contact form or at the email address shown above. If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
7. Minors
The contact form is not intended for children under 14. If you are under that age, please ask your parent or guardian to contact us.
8. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encrypted connection (HTTPS), protection of the form against attacks and automated submissions, and restricted access to information.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
